"I started working with Trek Consulting when I realized that I needed to reach a different market. I knew if I could work directly with clients rather than through their IT departments, my margins would be higher. We put together ideas abou how this would work, and I began calling companies in the target area. The trouble was, IT companies began calling me and asking for help. It became clear to us there was a pent up demand in outsourcing to IT companies who don't have their own help desk to support the business.
We stopped and did an about face and drafted a list of qualified IT companies to pursue.
